Tools is a read-only view of the assets your organization has flagged as workshop hand tools.
Before you start
Workshop is not governed by permission groups. Any member of an organization with the Workshop module enabled can open the Tools list.
A tool is an ordinary asset flagged for workshop use — add or edit one from Asset Management, not from Workshop.
The Tools list
Open Workshop > Tools.

| Name | The tool's name. |
| Serial | The tool's serial number. |
| Manufacturer | The tool's manufacturer. |
| Model | The tool's model. |
| Status | The tool's status. |
Sort defaults to the Name column, ascending.
Current limitations
- Tools is a read-only list. There is no create, show, or edit screen for a tool in the Workshop module — add or edit a workshop tool from the Asset Registry instead.
