A job is one unit of work within a production order's batch. Jobs are listed and can be opened here, but they can only be created from the production order they belong to.
Before you start
Production is not governed by permission groups. Any member of an organization with the Production module enabled can view jobs.
The Jobs list
Open Production > Jobs.

| ID | The job's custom ID. Links to its profile. |
| Serial | The job's serial number within its order. |
| Qty | The job's quantity. |
| Status | Normally "-" — see Current limitations. |
Sort defaults to the ID column, newest first.
The job profile
Shows the job's Serial, Batch, Qty, Status, and Date.
Current limitations
Warning
The Create icon on the Jobs list opens a page that fails to render. Jobs cannot be created from this screen — use Create jobs from the production order's profile instead. See Orders.
- There is no edit or delete option for a job.
- No status options are set up for jobs, so the Status column and field are always blank.
- A "Sync to SAP" action is intended for the job profile but never appears — SAP integration is not available in this version.
