Consumables is the module for consumable products and the purchase orders raised for them.
What you can do
- Look up consumable products. See Consumables.
- Raise and look up purchase orders for consumables. See Purchase Orders.
Before you start
Consumables is governed by permission groups with two submodules, Consumables and Purchase Orders. Each offers View (all or own) and Create; there is no Edit or Delete, because nothing here edits or deletes. Owners and Admins have every permission, and in an organization that has no active permission groups every member keeps full access. Raising a consumable purchase order needs only the Consumables permission, not a Purchasing one.
Current limitations
- A new consumable product can't be created from this module. See Consumables.
