Organization Settings

Rename or delete your organization, and see your subscription, modules, and storage as the owner.

On this page 12

This page covers the team record itself: its name, deleting it, and — for Owners and Admins — its subscription. Managing who belongs to the team is a separate page: see Users.

Opening organization settings

Open the header user menu, select Manage teams, then select the pencil icon next to the team you want to manage (an eye icon appears instead if your role only lets you view it). See Preferences > Switching teams for the full team list.

If your role doesn't allow changes, you'll see a read-only heading with the team's name instead of the form below.

Rename your organization

  1. Open organization settings for the team.
  2. Change the Team name field.
  3. Select Save.

You'll see the toast "Team updated." Team names can't reuse a set of reserved words (for example, "team," "settings," or "admin") — trying to gives you "This team name is reserved and cannot be used."

Note

Team name is the only organization-level field on this page. There's no logo or branding upload, and no organization-wide default timezone or locale.

Who can do what

Action Who
Rename the team Owner, Admin
Delete the team Owner only, and never for your personal team
Leave the team Anyone except the Owner, and not on your personal team

Members

A Members card shows how many people belong to the team. If you're viewing your current team, a Manage users link opens Users; for any other team, it tells you to switch to that team first.

Delete your organization

Only the Owner can delete a team, and never a personal team. A Delete team card explains this cannot be undone. Selecting Delete team opens a confirmation where you must type the team's name exactly to enable the confirm button; the server checks the same match and rejects a mismatch with "The team name does not match." Deleting shows the toast "Team deleted." and permanently removes the team's invitations and memberships; anyone working in the deleted team, you included, is moved to another team where their access is active, or, with none, left without a team.

Billing (Owners and Admins)

The Billing tab, visible to Owners and Admins, is a summary of your subscription rather than a payment form.

  • Plan — your plan type, billing cycle, price, how many user seats are used against your cap, and a Storage row showing usage as "{used} of {quota} ({percent}%)" — this is the only place storage usage is shown anywhere in the app.
  • Payment method — your card's brand and last four digits, with a Change card control.
  • Modules — any paid add-on modules you hold, with a Manage modules link to add or drop them; see Module settings for configuring the modules themselves once enabled. Dropping a module here keeps it available until the date shown, and it's no longer billed from your next invoice.
  • Invoices — a table of past invoices, or an empty-state note if there are none.

Cancelling and resuming

Select Cancel subscription to open a panel confirming: "End this subscription? Access continues until {date}. Nothing is refunded." Confirming shows "Your subscription will end on {date}." — access is not cut off immediately, it lasts until the paid period ends. If you change your mind before then, Keep my subscription reverses the cancellation with "Your subscription will continue." and nothing is charged, since the subscription never actually stopped. Only the Owner can cancel, even though the page itself is open to Admins too.

Billing email

An inline editor lets you set or clear a billing email address that copies invoices and receipts. Leaving it empty stops the second copy. Saving shows "Billing email updated."

Billing warning banner

When there is a critical billing issue, everyone in the organization sees a red banner at the top of every page: "Urgent: There is a critical billing issue on your account and your system will stop working shortly. Contact your admin immediately." It appears when:

  • an invoice is still unpaid 15 days after it was due (an invoice with no due date counts from the day it was issued), or
  • your platform operator turns it on for your organization.

The banner cannot be dismissed. It goes away once the overdue invoice is paid and the operator has turned it off. Everything keeps working while it shows.

If access is restricted

If your organization's account falls behind — a failed payment, an ended subscription, or similar — every other page is blocked and you land on a restricted page instead:

  • Regular members see a message that the organization is temporarily restricted and that their work is safe, with the option to switch to another team they belong to or sign out.
  • Owners and Admins see the outstanding situation along with controls to update a card, retry payment, or subscribe, depending on the cause.

An account an operator has suspended stays restricted even after you pay — only your organization's platform operator can lift a suspension. While it is suspended, members land on an Account suspended page saying the organization has been suspended because of a billing issue and to contact their admin.

Team type

Every team is either Standard or a Fuel station. Only the platform administrators set this, in the Superadmin area (team create and edit forms, with a list column and filter); it cannot be changed from Settings. A fuel station team gets the Fuel Station Management module (see the Fuel Station Management guide) and its Fuel station settings. To mark a team, a platform administrator opens it in the Superadmin area and sets its Team type to Fuel station; the team's Finance module should be on too, because invoicing and payments are raised there. A fuel station cannot go back to Standard while it has a credit account with a client that is not closed: "This station still has open credit accounts."

Current limitations

  • There is no way to change your organization's storage quota or plan from this page — Billing is a summary; changing or upgrading a subscription outside module changes goes through the same controls described above only where applicable.
  • No organization-level branding, logo, or default locale/timezone exists on this page or anywhere else in Settings.
