Quality

Quality is the module for quality-control testing. A profile defines the groups and items a product should be tested against; a control records the actual test values for one test run.

#What you can do

• Look up recorded QC controls and their test values. See Controls.
• Build QC profiles, with groups and items, that describe what a control should test. See Profiles.

#Access and permissions

You need a signed-in OCTO Ops account with a verified email address, an active membership in the selected organization, and the Quality module enabled for that organization.

Quality is not governed by permission groups. Any member of an organization with the Quality module enabled can open and use every working Quality screen. There is no separate View, Create, Edit, or Delete permission for Quality, and no distinction between your own records and everyone else's.

#Current limitations

• Assurance appears in the navigation but has no screens behind it in this version. See Assurance.
• Controls cannot currently be created or edited from the Quality module's own screens — see Controls.
• There is no edit screen for profiles — see Profiles.
