Warehouse overview
The Warehouse overview is the first page of the Warehouse module. It brings together the figures a warehouse team checks through the day.
Business units
When your organization has business units, the overview shows the figures of the business unit chosen in the header, and says so under its title: Stock on hand, Expiry, Stock by business unit, Put-aways pending, Damage awaiting disposition, GINs to pick and Open GINs count only that unit and its sub-units (or only your main business, or everything for All business units). Stock counts by each stock unit's own business unit; issues by the issue's. In Damage awaiting disposition, stock split from another unit with no business unit of its own counts under that unit's business unit, as the Damaged list shows it; Put-aways pending counts each stock unit's own business unit, as the Awaiting put-away list does. Today, Approvals pending and Bin utilisation always count every business unit. A figure you select opens its list on the same business unit.
Before you start
You need Warehouse › Overview › View all in your permission group. Owners and Admins can always open it.

| Needs attention | GINs waiting to be picked, goods waiting to be put away, damaged stock waiting for a decision, and approval requests waiting for a decision. GINs to pick is live: issues still to pick (stage Open or Picking) in every warehouse, 3PL issues left out. Select it to open those issues; without Issues › View the tile shows the count only. Put-aways pending is live: goods waiting in a receiving or returns location, or not yet in any bin, of a warehouse with location management on (3PL stock is not counted). Received customer returns count there until they are put away, and damaged returns count in Damage awaiting disposition like any other damaged stock. Select it to open Awaiting put-away; without Stocks › View the tile shows the count only. Damage awaiting disposition is live: stock units marked damaged, on hand in warehouses with location management on, that are not yet on a return, scrap or repair (3PL stock is not counted). Select it to open Damaged stock on the units awaiting a decision (with several warehouses under location management and the damage in only one, on that warehouse); without Damage & disposition › View the tile shows the count only. Approvals pending is live: every approval request in your organization still waiting for a decision — damage and disposition decisions and stock count adjustments. Select it to open Approvals, where To decide lists the ones you may decide. |
| Stock on hand | Live: quantity on hand in warehouses with location management, split into saleable, awaiting put-away (in a receiving or returns bin, or no bin yet; damaged returned goods show under damaged), damaged and other areas. With Stocks › View, select a part to list those stock units. |
| Expiry | Live: batches already expired, expiring in 30 days or less, in 31–90 days, and later, with the number of batches without an expiry. With Stocks › View, select a bar to open the Expiry view for it. |
| Bin utilisation | Live. The active bins of every warehouse with location management on (inactive bins are left out, as on the Locations list), counted as Empty, Partly used, Full (as many stock records as the bin's positions per bin, or more) and In use, no capacity set. Figures can be up to 5 minutes old. With no warehouse under location management, the card says "Turn on location management for a warehouse to see bin utilisation." |
| Today | Today's receipts, put-aways, picks and dispatches. All four are live: Receipts (receipts received today), Put-aways (stock units put away today), Picks (units picked today; a pick that is later undone still counts) and Dispatches (issues dispatched today). |

Put-aways pending, GINs to pick, Damage awaiting disposition, Approvals pending, Open GINs and Today's live figures refresh every minute (Damage awaiting disposition and Approvals pending also at once when a disposition or an approval changes); the stock figures (Stock on hand, Expiry and Stock by business unit) every five minutes (the first view after that can still show the earlier figures while new ones are worked out), and at once when location management is turned on or a location's purpose changes. The stock figures cover warehouses with location management turned on (3PL stock is not counted). With none, the stock cards say "Turn on location management for a warehouse to see this." The lists they open follow the same business unit and show one warehouse at a time, starting with the first warehouse with location management; when only one of your warehouses holds what a figure counts, its list opens on that warehouse.
Current limitations
- Today's figures (Receipts, Put-aways, Picks and Dispatches) don't open a list.
