My Work gathers the tasks that matter to you personally — assigned to you, created by you, or followed by you — into one page of tabs, without you having to search or filter for them.
Before you start
My Work only shows tasks you're already allowed to see, under the rules explained in Projects & Tasks: who can see a project or task. A New task button appears in the toolbar only if your organization role allows creating tasks. In an organization that uses permission groups, opening My Work needs My Work › View, and its tabs show only the tasks your All Tasks permission lets you see.
Opening My Work
Open Projects & Tasks > My Work. The toolbar's New task button opens the same task drawer used everywhere else in the app — see Create a task for what it asks for.
The tabs
| Tab | Shows | When it's empty |
|---|---|---|
| Today | Open tasks assigned to you, due today or earlier | "Nothing due today." |
| Overdue | Open tasks assigned to you, past their due date | "Nothing overdue." |
| Upcoming | Open tasks assigned to you, due after today | "Nothing scheduled ahead." |
| Assigned to me | Every open task assigned to you, regardless of date | "Nothing assigned to you." |
| Created by me | Open tasks you created | "You have not created any open work." |
| Following | Open tasks you follow | "You are not following anything." |
| Personal | Open tasks you created that are Personal visibility, or that don't belong to a project | "No personal work." |
| Recently completed | Tasks assigned to you, completed in the last 14 days | "Nothing completed in the last two weeks." |
Each tab's name carries a count. The Overdue count turns red once it's above zero so overdue work stands out; the other tabs' counts stay grey regardless of how many tasks they hold.
Select any task in a tab to open its full page — see The task page for everything you can do there.
The Projects & Tasks overview
Opening Projects & Tasks itself shows an overview: your own figures (Assigned to you, Overdue, Due this week, Completed this week), Your open work, Recent projects — the most recently updated current projects you can see — and Organization work, a count of the organization's open tasks by status. When your organization has business units, Recent projects shows only the projects of the business unit chosen in the header, and its title names it (for example "Recent projects — Pharma Kandy"); the task figures cover the whole organization.
When your organization has business units, each task on My Work also shows its project's business unit as a small badge beside the project name; this is display only, and My Work is not filtered by the header's unit.
Current limitations
- Each tab shows at most 50 tasks, with no "load more" — if you have more than that in a tab, only the first 50 appear.
- My Work only lists tasks; there's no board or compact view here, and no filters beyond the tabs themselves.
- Nobody's Personal work but your own can ever appear here, however it's assigned or followed.
