A Receipt (also called a GRN, goods received note) records stock coming in for a 3PL customer, linked back to a job.
Before you start
Any member of an organization with the 3PL module enabled can open this page; there's no separate permission for viewing a receipt. There's no screen in this module to create a receipt — see Current limitations.
The Receipts list
Open 3PL > Receipts (GRNs).
| Column | Notes |
|---|---|
| ID | The receipt's reference number. |
| Customer | The customer the stock came in for. |
| Store | The receiving warehouse. |
| Date | The receipt's date. |
| Status | The receipt's status. |
| (View) | Opens the receipt's profile. |
The list sorts by ID, descending, by default. There's no search box, no filters, and no export on this list, and no create icon in the toolbar.
The receipt profile
Opening a receipt from the list shows its profile.
- Receipt details — Customer, Store, Date, and Status — all read-only.
- Stock lines — Product, Batch, Location, Qty, and Qty current for each line on the receipt, read-only.
The Print icon appears in the toolbar but leads to an error page — see Current limitations. There's no edit or delete icon.
Current limitations
- There's no way to create a receipt from 3PL in this version — the list only shows receipts that already exist against a job.
- There's no Excel import for receipts.
- The Print icon on a receipt's profile leads to an error page — no print page exists for receipts.
- There's no edit or delete option for a receipt.
